I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I have worked as a therapist at Options since 2016. I enjoy working with adults across a range of topics; including life and relationship goals, difficulties with anxiety or depression, and managing symptoms of bipolar or schizoaffective disorder. My approach to therapy emphasizes a client-centered philosophy, which honors the premise that you are probably the best expert on your own life. My practice also incorporates mindfulness and grounding skills from acceptance and commitment therapy; as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing exercises, which focus on healing from traumatic events.

I hold a Master’s in Somatic Counseling Psychology and Dance/Movement Therapy from Naropa University and am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II). As a Somatic Therapist, my therapeutic orientation aims to integrate body-based interventions with traditional Person-Centered therapy. I have completed additional training on trauma and addiction. I have a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. My experience has been focused on trauma, complex trauma, and mental health issues with children and adults, attachment foster-care and adoption, and early childhood development. Drawing from aspects of interpersonal neurobiology I endeavor to maintain a safe, trusting, and accurately attuned relationship with each client.
