I believe that therapy can be a way for people to access both internal and external resources they need in order to flourish. I believe that everyone is capable of creating change, and I hope that therapy can provide enough support and encouragement that clients feel emboldened to advocate for themselves. As an LGBTQ+ affirming and socially justice-oriented therapist, I endeavor to create a safe and open therapeutic space that allows for identity exploration in all forms. I gravitate towards a narrative and solution-focused approach in most of my work. I have significant experience working with queer, trans, and gender non-conforming youth.

Counseling provides a safe, non-judgmental space to speak openly about issues that are affecting your life. I see every client as an individual and also try to understand the context in which the individual lives. I encourage exploration of relevant previous experiences that shed light onto patterns, ability to change, and/or issues that are current in a client’s daily life. Processing issues from the past will allow a person to move forward with more confidence, self-worth, and a stronger desire to make positive changes in life. Therapy can be an intimidating process and I will provide safety, guidance, and reassurance that you need to live a happier, healthier life.
