I believe that effective therapy is a collaboration with clients, who are the experts of their own lives. My goal, as a therapist, is to offer clients new approaches for the challenges they face and to work as a team to generate ideas for trying new strategies that are accessible and realistic for my clients. I practice primarily from a cognitive behavioral perspective. I also use evidenced-based interventions including mindfulness and behavioral interventions. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon.

I explore with clients their concerns in the context of their relationships and the various aspects of society at large. I think the way we feel, the way we think about ourselves and others, and what we do are equally important areas to work on in therapy.
