I hold a Master’s in Somatic Counseling Psychology and Dance/Movement Therapy from Naropa University and am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II). As a Somatic Therapist, my therapeutic orientation aims to integrate body-based interventions with traditional Person-Centered therapy.  I have completed additional training on trauma and addiction. Maria Schweer, MA 

I have a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. My experience has been focused on trauma, complex trauma, and mental health issues with children and adults, attachment foster-care and adoption, and early childhood development. Drawing from aspects of interpersonal neurobiology I endeavor to maintain a safe, trusting, and accurately attuned relationship with each client. I draw from a cognitive, relational, psychodynamic, family systems, and attachment-based theory, tailored collaboratively to individual or family therapy needs.
